This race was completely crazy! Everyone lined a narrow path through the desert and stood in the middle of the road waiting for these trucks to come flying (up to 100mph) through and at the last possible second everyone ran to the side to avoid being hit. It was nuts, the kids decided to wait in the truck and watch through the back window. When I commented that I was surprised that no one was killed they said Oh someone dies every year:0 Of course Darrell loved it and stayed all day long with Dad, we were smart and went back to the beach.
